Hi. I'm willing to hold a presentation (or a workshop maybe?) about the Python programming language, as an intro to people who maybe never heard of it, and as a starting point for people who heard of it and want to learn it.
Post your ideas and opinions. Thanks

Meshbox distribution
Provided i don't get arrested or killed by the powers that be, I'd like to host a small presentation on the
MeshBox distro.
I believe that this distro implements networking protocols that have real potential to change the telecom landscape into something more free, more collaborative, more powerful and most of all, MOST FUN.
The European commission thinks that too, apparently -- but dont let that mislead you. How would you like to make all TV & telecom execs go broke and jobless while the geeks have all the fun, VoIPping and TVoIPing the world to a better place?
A lot, that's how you'd like it. download Meshbox, study AODV and Captive portals, reimplement it over your favorite distros, make the world a better place.
MeshNetworking? is THE protocol for streetTVS and/or RevolutionaryNetworking. Give it a shot!
Send me an ISO when you're done too, I know a guy who'd shell out a million bucks or so for it.
This message was brought to you yama@rome.freeworld (not an actually working email address)

VR and AI stuff
I'd like to show my VR and AI stuff. Like, I walk 3D mars and stuff and my AI plays me my music;) Also, video streaming, databases, blah. How it works for blind etc. Then Q&A, with virtually present co-autors, then discussion.
Workshop, why not, if people bring computers. Like, bulid your own virtual Bush and make him speak what you want;)
Or whatever.
Starting point:

BTW you people want your chat space? Ask there.
LiVES RFX system
This presentation will be part of the
LiVES workshop. I plan to do a one hour technical presentation on the new RFX system in
LiVES. Using RFX, anyone with even a little knowledge of Perl can make their own video effects, complete with parameters which can be set by the user graphically. The generated effects can then be run on any video clip. There will also be facilities for import/export of custom scripts, so that new effects can be shared over the internet. No prior knowledge of Perl is necessary, I can show people how to make simple effects and tools using image magick.

Open Desktop Database - openddb.org
I want to present a new resource collecting configuration information for open desktop environments. We need to collect the missing pieces of knowledge, like relating applications and mimetypes, icons, network ports & similar. Think Freshmeat, but with an end- user point of view. The collected info will be provided to the world in well-defined formats.
