organising meeting #3 notes

food

• vegetables will be delivered daily by a friend of shapo's to the roytz building. shapo will be here from 2-5 p.m. daily to coordinate the kitchen.

• two meals will be provided: breakfast (10 a.m.) and dinner (5 p.m.). breakfast will be self-service bread/jam/... + dinner will be a substantial meal.

• the cooks will be decided upon during the previous days meeting.

• all food will be vegan.

• people will wash their own dishes using the "3-pot" system discussed on the list. a system needs to be set up for this.

• people should bring their own bowls/spoons + this needs to be posted on the mailing list. meinhard will handle this.

• as a backup we need to buy bowls/spoons. meinhard will take care of this.

network

• the internet uplink will be a 128kb ISDN link which costs 1 euro per hour so we'll need to raise funds to pay for that.

• there will be a meeting to sort out all the details of the network (engineering/services/security/...) at 3 p.m. tomorrow (wednesday) in the hacklab.

electricity

• each of the rooms has enough power to run 25/30 computers. the backyard has power to run up to 100 systems.

• maurizio will draw up a plan for the electricity supply for tomorrow. maurizio will be the electricity coordinator.

• there's a meeting about electricity at 6 p.m. tomorrow (wednesday) in the hacklab.

• we don't have to pay for water or electricity - the city pays for that.

geography

• there's an extra room (the climber's room) next to the billiard room for workshops.

• the main entrance to roytz will be used as the entrance (with welcome desk) and the side entrance will now be closed.

• there's stuff in the basement to build 7/8 tables.

• there's 40-ish chairs in the old club which can be moved to other rooms.

• the people arriving tomorrow should be "persuaded" to help out building tables/chairs

collective life

• darkveggy, teka, jimpulse are going shopping.

• nico, isazi, prometheo are cooking lunch.

• sebastian, meinhard, jamie are cooking dinner.

• we'll put the matresses we need in the billiard room + people can sleep in either the old m.p. club or the billiard room for the next few days while things are being set up.

misc

• we'll print 100 t-shirts with the ant logo + location + date. edgar, nico, jamie + darkveggy will handle this tomorrow.

• there will be a press conference at noon on friday.
